About the Speaker

Jennifer King, PhD
Practicioner-Researcher 

Hope Center for Community, College and Justice

Dr. Jennifer King is a Practitioner-Researcher at the Hope Center for Community, College, and Justice. In her work, she supports the empowerment of colleges and universities seeking to advance their basic needs resources and programming for student success. Prior to joining the Hope Center, Dr. King progressively developed her skills in project management and both face-to-face and remote technical assistance and training in community nutrition. As a first-generation college graduate, she integrates her training in nutrition and public health from Kent State University and Bowling Green State University to help secure basic needs supports for college students.
