Anti-racism Resources
This is a curated list of anti-racism resources provided by the UC Irvine End Racism Initiative, a grassroots collective started in June 2020 when we were reminded that systemic anti-Black racism is a persistent, pervasive, and lethal issue that plagues our society. Find anti-racism resources on campus, how to report a concern and more.
Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence
Learn about UC Policies, resources for the Dunlop School community and the Sexual Harassment Advisors. The Dunlop School Sexual Harassment Advisors (SHA) exists to assist students, staff, and faculty on campus with concerns about sexual harassment and sexual violence (relationship violence, stalking, and sexual assault).
Campus Assault Resources and Education
Established in 2005, the UC Irvine CARE Office provides free and confidential support services to members of the UC Irvine community impacted by sexual assault, relationship abuse, family violence and/or stalking. UC Irvine CARE aims to end these forms of power-based personal violence by engaging the campus community in education, programming, and transformative action.
COVID-19
UC Irvine Forward is UCI’s COVID-19 information website. UC Irvine is commitment to the well-being of our community as we ramp up campus operations. Get up-to-date information about testing, vaccines, COVID-19 response, and working remotely. Working together, each of us doing our part, we can move UC Irvine Forward.
Discrimination
UC Irvine has nondiscrimination policies for both employment and student-related matters. UC Irvine faculty, staff, and students who believe that they have been discriminated against have the right to seek resolution through OEOD, which offers both formal and informal resolution options.
Equal Opportunity and Diversity
The UC Irvine Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (OEOD) is responsible for the University’s compliance with federal and state laws and University policies and procedures regarding discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and sexual violence. OEOD works to promote and integrate the principles of equal opportunity, affirmative action, nondiscrimination, and inclusive excellence at UCI.
Abusive Conduct and Bullying
Abusive conduct and bullying behaviors are inconsistent with the values of the University and should be addressed directly and comprehensively. Regardless of circumstances or setting, staff at all levels found to be engaging in abusive conduct should be held accountable.
Reporting Complaints
Do you have a complaint to report? Submit an OEOD Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, or Sexual Violence Report.
Reporting Acts of Intolerance
We strive for a campus and a world free of discrimination, intolerance and hate. We are equally committed to freedom of expression, critical inquiry, civil dialogue and mutual respect. If you experience or observe behavior that is inconsistent with our Principles of Community, please report it.
Mental Health Counseling Services
The mission of the Wellness, Health & Counseling Services cluster is to support the campus’ goal of being first in class by providing services that support students’ physical and mental health and wellness to enhance their academic success. We believe that academic excellence is facilitated when students have a strong mind, a healthy body, an enlivened spirit and a clear aspiration, nurtured in a supportive environment.
